What's really funny was Activision did dick all promoting those very same games that didn't perform well.
Did you guys really see ads for Singularity or Transformers? I'm not talking about seeing the odd ad here or there, but at least an effort to bring up awareness of the product like they do CoD or GH.
The only Blur ad I saw, was Gamestop's.
Pretty sad if you ask me if a retailer advertises the game more so than the publisher.

Looks fake to me.
All the art assets and models come straight of off Arkham Asylum.
Even the lines are lifted off of the AA.
*cough*
Fuck you Epic. Fuck you.
That is all.
"And stop asking for characters that havent been any good in comics since the 90s"
Thank you!
I thought I was the only one who doesn't want Gambit in MvC3.
These articles are stupid.
Those three characters he mentions are great additions to the game because they are so different from what we usually see in a fighting game.
I like this part:
"Although Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is yet to be released, I believe there are already three characters in the roster that will be left untouched (unless you want to finish all the character’s endings)."
I can guarantee you people will be using all 3 of those chara...
This teaser trailer was absolute crap. There was no point in releasing another teaser trailer. Should have been a full blown one.
Still buying the game on day one though.
Quality of sound.
Lots of people won't notice or care about the difference, but to those who have good setups at home, it can make quite the difference. If you are just playing through a TV, then yeah, you'll probably won't notice it, unless it's really poorly done.
Compression removes sections of sound waves to make it take up less space, but at the same time, you lose quality of sound. So, you are liable to hear crackling or static during the movie or game. R...
... that at the 36 second mark you see somebody swinging a weapon, or weapons, attached to chains? It also makes a slicing sound and there is smoke coming from the end of the weapon(s).
Could it be Kratos?
The outline of the outfit is very similar to his outfit at the beginning of GoW2. Given the rumor that Kratos' voice actor did VO work for this game and the fact that this is labeled as a PS3 trailer, could it be?
I'm not trying to get into a discussion about personal beliefs, but what gets me is the logic that this person uses.
It's alright to kill people as long as you don't swear.
Think about it, what's worse? Taking somebody's life, or using a word that we collectively as a species deem as a swear? It's a double standard.
It's fact.
If you hear something that's wrong, wouldn't you correct it?
I mean that's all anybody does online. Just wait for somebody to make a tiny mistake, then 10 people jump on that person to show how big their e-penis is.
LOL at people thinking that this one instance of a law is "big Brother-esque" and headed down that way.
Clearly you've never been to Canada.
Look at this article on Kotaku, where it looks like it possibly got the information from, and only showed part of it:

"Ps3 lunched Heavy Rain /FF13/God of War. That's it. Not even a Dent."
Right, despite the fact that the PS3 version of Final Fantasy 13 has been outselling the 360 version and Heavy Rain has been selling pretty good itself.
And I'm sure God Of War 3 will sell tons of copies within it's first week, which starts today, I might add. So, your statement about GoW3 not making a dent is pure speculation and wishful thinking.
"Now you got Allen Wa...
Well, you are correct, it won't last (well, nobody will surpass the Wii in sales at this point). The majority of the sales were before Sony really started showing the benefits of their Blu-Ray medium with their products.
Games like Killzone 2, God of War 3, and Uncharted 2 for example have raised the bar and all were games released from 2009 onwards.
Now that Sony is setting the standard, the 360 is starting to look gimped and games will now suffer from it.
Look at Lost Plan...
You don't have to be a PS3 Fanboy to see the misinformation and the hypocrisy of their statements.
Yes and no.
Smaller indie games will go the way of digital distribution, but big games like Gears of War 2 or God of War 3 take up a lot of disc on space and it isn't feasible in today's age.
Maybe, MAYBE, a decade down the line, but that a lots of data being moved here and there are several factors to consider.
Most internet users have a download limit, so introducing big download-able games would be a no-no unless the majority of your users have a big cap or ...
They said they are the only company out there streaming full 1080p movies, but doesn't Sony do that too?
I live in Canada, so I don't get the media section of the store, so I cannot make a comparison.
And another thing, they make is sound like its a difficult thing to do. Perhaps the reason why other companies do not do that is because of bandwidth issues.
Explain to me how that's an online issue?
Yes, you cannot connect online, but it's not because of some online functionality that is causing the issue it's due to something else. Ergo, it's not an online issue.
If the PS3 wasn't connected online, it would still throw the error because of the bug. People don't seem to be getting that.
And why did people disagree with my original statement? It's not like I said something remotely untruthful or biased.
Why do people insist that's an online or online-related issue?
It's not. This is a bug with the calendar. Stop making it seem that keeping things offline would have avoided this issue.
Wow Immortal, are you really that dense? You completely ignored the point I made while rehashing the same thing you said before.
The PS3 isn't this magical little box that can do things a PC cannot.
GoW3, like any other game, was programmed on a PC.
So, with a straight face, your telling me that the PS3 can out do a PC, despite the fact that the PS3 has less RAM, a less powerful graphics card then what's currently on the market, slower HDD access, and no capabi...
It's for several reasons. They acquire studios and then dissolve them. Rather than give them new projects, they just decided to get rid of them. So, what's the point of buying them then?
Another reason is that this is Activision's fault, not the devs but management. Management wanted to whore out their franchise on a yearly basis, without realizing that you can ride a cash cow for oh so long. So, innocent people get fired because some management suit makes wrong decisions....
